Shopping and Services in La Paz

Many of these locations have a web presence, and most are on Facebook. I have minimized the links to keep hacker attacks to this website to a minimum.

The more time we spend in La Paz, the more gems we find for those of us who appreciate a good retail experience, plus great suppliers to the yachting community (see other page for marine listings). You will notice there is some bias towards items of culinary interest. Follows is a list of recent favorites (most but not all verified as open – some we have noted the last date visited). Our favorite bakery now. Fabulous croissants, lovely baguettes at about $1.25. Giant biscotti, scones, big crutons, beautiful almond and chocolate croissants, oh my! On Allende a few blocks up from the Malecon (between Madero and Revolucion), great baked goods plus restaurant for breakfast/lunch/dinner. Interesting menu, innovative sandwiches. Check out there new bakery/market across the street.

Lovely bread and pastries. Sourdough and Rustico are wonderful, try the spicy (and other flavor) rice crackers. We like their cherry turnovers. Some gluten free items too. They usually have a stand at the Tuesday/Saturday market at Rosales at the Malecon.
