Here’s some restaurants to check out in La Paz. Our preference is for great food at a good value. Don’t quote us on the hours of operation, always good to verify for yourself.
NOTE 1/2023: Not so much dining out during the pandemic …but many of our favorites are still in business. Takeout is an option and many have outdoor seating

Great hangout for both gringos and Mexicanos. Lots of baked items, breakfast and lunch. Has some interesting design souvenir clothing and gift items. Air con inside for the really hot days, and lovely patio in the back.
On Madero a few doors down from Pan de Les. They also have a location a Puerto Cortez/Marina Costa Baja, one on Madero behind Chedraui Abasolo, one in La Ventana and one in Todos Santos.
Dulce Romero Panaderia y Organicos

Great baked goods to go, our favorite place right now for baguettes and croissants. Really nice sandwiches, not the usual. Open for breakfast-lunch-dinner. Indoor and outdoor tables. A little noisy (inside) as it is a popular place. A few specialty grocery items including a bit of lovely fresh produce in their cold case. Fresh hummus, pestos.
